Types of Aquaculture:
1. Freshwater Aquaculture:
Common in ponds and tanks.
Species: Rohu, Catla, Mrigal, Tilapia, and Common Carp.
2. Brackish Water Aquaculture:
Uses coastal and estuarine water.
Species: Tiger Prawn, Mud Crab, Milkfish.
3. Marine Aquaculture (Mariculture):
Carried out in the sea.
Species: Sea bass, Groupers, Oysters, Mussels.
